Investigations

The GP will organise a form for you. If you do not have a printer, please come to reception to request it is printed. 

You can book your appointment by calling 01702 746065 or on www.swiftqueue.com. 

If you need to fast, your form will state FASTING GLUCOSE, or FASTING LIPIDS in the tests ordered. 

If your form is marked URGENT, the GP will explain that you need to take the form to Basildon Hospital to wait for these to be carried out on the day. 

If your GP requests that you have a Chest Xray, please attend St Andrews between 9am - 4pm and give your name. 

Otherwise you will be contacted by the imaging department to organise your scan. 

Please either call reception or log into your NHS App or SystmOne account to get your results. You will be told instructions of what to do next. If you are requested to book an appointment, you can call directly into reception on 01277 658117 to do this.
